Counselor in Training Program

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE
The Counselor in Training program, specifically offered through the Child Development Services Department, typically runs through our summer programming. To promote a partnership opportunity with Brea Canyon High School, the Counselor in Training program is being offered as an extension into the school year with our after school programs located at all Elementary Schools in Brea.
OBJECTIVES

- Students work alongside BOUSD staff in an educational environment with children.
- To have a firsthand career and college readiness opportunity in the field of Early Childhood Education.
- To obtain credits toward personal academic requirements.
